1. The service

Exam Notes is an iOS app that helps teachers record spoken feedback, refine it with on-device AI, and share it with students and parents through QR codes and the examnotes.app web portal. By using the app or the portal you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

2. Free plan and Teacher Pro subscription

• Student and parent access is free, always, in the app and on the web portal.
• The free teacher plan includes 1 class with up to 10 students.
• Teacher Pro is an auto-renewing yearly subscription that removes these limits. The price is shown in the app before purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
• If a subscription lapses, your data remains yours and existing classes keep working; you simply can't add beyond the free limits until you re-subscribe.

3. Your responsibilities

• You confirm you are authorised to record feedback about the students you add, and that your use complies with your school's policies and applicable law.
• Keep printed QR codes reasonably safe; regenerate a student's QR in the app if one is lost or misused.
• Do not use the app to store or share unlawful, abusive, or discriminatory content.

4. Your data

Your content belongs to you. How it is stored and protected is described in the Privacy Policy. AI-refined feedback is generated on your device; you are responsible for reviewing it before sharing.

5. Availability and warranty

The app and portal are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do our best to keep the cloud sharing and portal available, but they depend on Apple's CloudKit service and may be interrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the previous 12 months.

6. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time; deleting your data in the app removes the shared cloud copies. We may suspend access for breach of these terms.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
